New to Trading? Here's some tips

So there seems to be a lot of new people on this sub. And makes sense if you have questions a lot of time you'll turn to reddit for the answers (I know I do). Well here are some tips that I think would benefit new traders.
  1. Don't trade ANY Euro pairs. Look I know it's the most traded pair it goes up and down really fast and there's so much potential for you to make money. Turns out there's even more for you to lose money. It's way too volatile specially if you don't know what you're doing. EUUSD is the worst offender.
  2. Trade the Daily. Might think you're cool looking at charts every x amount of times during the day. You get to tell your friends and family that you trade all day and they might be impressed at what you're doing but unless you have some years under you stick to the daily. There's less noise. You can see clearer trends and when you don't stare at the screen all day you're less emotional therefore a more effective trader. I only look at the chart 15 minutes a day to either enter close or manage my trades. Whatever happens when I'm gone is what happens.
  3. There is no holy grail indicator Look for it all you want. It doesn't exist. There are good indicators. There are bad indicators. There are some indicators that are so broken if you do the opposite of what they're intended for you'll actually make a profit. But the fact remains that there's no perfect one. Stop looking. What you should be looking for is an indicator that fits with your strategy.
  4. What currencies to pick. I actually never see this brought up. The notion in forex is that all pairs can be traded equally. To a certain extent that's not false. But until you get the hang of it stick to a strict trading diet. Look for pairs that trend a lot. Duh look for the trend I can hear you say. When I say trend I don't mean a couple of days or weeks. I mean a couple of months. Half a year. Pairs that do that have a higher tendency to stick with one direction for a while. That's where you make your money. An easy way to identify those pairs as well is putting together a volatile currency (USD) with a less volatile one(JPY).
  5. USE YOUR SL Trust me even if not putting a SL has netted you all kinds of gains eventually the market will turn around and bite you. With no safety net you'll lose most if not all your profit. The best offense is a good defense.
  6. How to pick your TP and SL level. Most new traders care so much about that. I put it near the bottom because in my opinion you should know everything listed first. This is my opinion and I use it for my strategy I use the ATR(average true range) indicator. It's a really helpful tool that helps you identify the range at which the candles will either rise or fall. Obviously you want to set your TP inside of that range and your SL slightly outside of it.
  7. Lot sizes. Everyone has a different story about how they pick their lot size. The general consensus is don't risk over 2% of your account. But I'm a simple man and I can't be bothered to figure out what my risk is every single time. So what I do is I put $0.10 for every $100 I have on the account. I then assign $300(minimum) to each pair. That's $0.30 per pair. It's easy to remember. 10 cent for every $100. If you're able to blow $100 with $0.10 then you probably shouldn't trade.
  8. How to avoid reversals. Tbh you can't. There's no way to predict the future so eventually you'll get hit by one. What you can do however is minimize the blow. How I do it is for every pair I take two trades. If you remember in the previous tip is said I do about$0.30 per pair well I divide it 2:1. I take one trade with a TP(2) and one without (1). If my TP is hit I pocket that amount and if the trend keeps going in my direction I make even more. If the trend decides to end or reverses my losses are minimal because at least I kept half.
  9. There is NO right way to trade. Stop listening to people telling the best way to trade is fundamentals or naked charts of to use some specific indicator. There are no right way to do this. It's as flexible and unlimited as your imagination. I personally use indicators but if that's not your thing do YOU! Just remember to manage your trades properly and be level headed when trading. Hell if your trading strategy is flipping a coin with proper trade management you'd probably make some money (don't quote me on that).
  10. Trade money you're willing to lose Don't trade your rent money.
That's all I have for now. If anyone sees this and wants to add more feel free. Hope this helps someone.

Non Strategies for Success

TL;DR The why as to why you trade is as important as the strategy you use to trade.
I am new to Forex. However prior to COVID I was a professional card player but when the casinos closed shop I needed to find another source of income. Over the past few months I have been doing a lot of research into different strategies to use however, the one area of information that is rarely ever discussed is the why of why you are doing this. In any setting risk management is a major component to determine success but, what determines your level of risk tolerance is independent of each person's goals. Before I ever sent a dime to a brokerage or opened a demo account I asked myself these questions.
1.) What is my reason to do this? Determining whether this was something I wanted to do full time, part time, as passive income or as a challenge to beat.
2.) What is my short term and long term goal with this? Was I looking to make money right away? Was I looking to reinvest? Have a plan as to what you are going to do with your money beforehand and stick to it.
3.) How much time am I willing to invest into this? Practice makes perfect in any endeavor and to become good at something requires time.
4.) How much am I willing to lose before I call it quits? Just because you have 20k doesn't mean you have 20k to lose. Knowing when to walk away from a losing session is even more important than basic strategy as it will allow you to come back to the table to try again so to speak.
Each of these questions lead to more questions until I had a defined plan of action as to how I wanted to move forward. These questions also gave insight as to the style and type of trading strategies I would be looking for as they fit my goals. The strategy I have been using is successful for me because of my style of risk tolerance and risk management but may not work for others. Ken Jennings and James Holzhauer are two of the most successful competitors on Jeopardy. However the strategy each used were different but worked for them. Same applies to professional poker players, athletes and almost any task imaginable. So I see many people asking for strategy advice. The advice I would give is for them to ask themselves not "How should I be trading?" but "Why am I trading?". This is just my two cents. Good luck to you all.

CMV: Regarding new economic plan that would create an open system of accountability and without increasing the debt.

Currently there are 250,000 people in Las Vegas, NV that will not be able to pay their rent for September. Let's say a total of $125,000 million dollars would take care of their rent situation. I came up with that number by dividing $125,000 by $500. I know rents are higher. This is for illustrative purposes.
This is a very difficult time for just about everyone at the moment. We are looking for answers that we just don’t have. Now is the time to come together as a unit and take part in something bigger than it’s individual parts. I am talking about a new way of financial thinking that creates a win, win, win, situation. Renters make up forty percent of households and thirty eight percent of renters are estimated to be unemployed right now. Eviction notices could be mailed as soon as next month. This is a crisis that will affect the entire country. But there is something that we can do about it, but it takes all of our voices in unity to make it happen. This is a collective action that can be implemented immediately. Now is the time to go beyond thinking out of the box and thinking out of our universe.
Big banks and financial institutions were responsible for the 2007 housing collapse which devastated the entire world economy. In 2008, the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act was signed into law, creating a $700 billion program to purchase devalued assets from banks. This was called the Troubled Asset Relief Program, or TARP. Later, President Obama would direct $75 billion in funds from TARP to help reduce interest payments for homeowners. That means homeowners received around 10% of the direct relief that banks and corporations did, according to Business Insider. It’s now time for the financial institutions to do their share and make up for the last financial debacle.
The financial markets are experiencing all time highs and billionaires got $637 billion dollars richer in the last few months. Somethings definitely out of whack here and I will show you how we fix this. I said we, meaning the millions of people around the world with one voice helping to implement The One Cent More Plan. For any financial movement to be sustainable it must be transparent for all to see where the money is being used and not exploited by a few. That’s why no one organization is responsible for the money involved and each transaction is in the block-chain ledger for all to see at anytime.
This is how it works for renters, landlords and the banks. For the purpose of this example let’s use Cindy as a renter who lives in Las Vegas and lost her job and can’t pay next months rent. She has notified her landlord and he is trying to be as courteous as possible, but he also has a mortgage to pay on his apartment building which has ten units. Some of the other tenants have lost their jobs as well. As you can see this is a common occurrence in Las Vegas at the moment. This is where the bank steps in as the lovable George Bailey types which they will become. I know what you are thinking. Their more like Mr. Potter than George in it’s a Wonderful Life. But you will soon see that it’s in their best interest to be more like George in the long run. If you haven’t seen the movie, I suggest you do. It’s one of my favorites.
I will start with the New York Stock Exchange. The average daily volume for the last three months was 1,123,989,426 shares which equates to a staggering 22,479,788,520 shares per month. What if for each share an additional fee of one cent were added. This would result in $11,239,894.26 dollars per day going into the The One Cent More Plan Fund. You know at the end of each day the total amount that the fund should have simply by looking at the end of day total volume for the market. Multiply that by the number of trading days in the month and it equals 224,797,885.20 dollars. This is just one market. Now let’s say Cindy is a beneficiary of The One Cent More Plan Fund which is setup for the sole purpose of assisting with rent for those who can’t pay. Her rent was 750 dollars she would receive 500 dollars for rent and nothing out of her pocket. But Cindy wouldn’t get a direct payment. She would receive a receipt contract from her bank with a block-chain transaction number which she can look up on the internet to verify that it had been paid. Her landlord would also receive from his bank a receipt contract only because he owes the bank his mortgage payment. If he had no mortgage the payment would go directly to him. His payment would also be on the block-chain. So, Cindy’s rent is paid for the month of September. Her landlord is happy although he doesn’t get his normal amount of 750 dollars, it’s still better than having to go through the hassle of evicting a good tenant and ending up with no rent at all!! And the landlords bank is happy that the mortgage is being paid.
Here is the Ethereum Blockchain Ledger
So how much would it cost to do the same for the other people who can’t pay their rent. This is just one example with one market. As you can see there are no real losers in this equation. A one cent transaction fee on every stock sold is not a lot to fight over. Once Cindy finds a job she would not receive the entire $500 for rent only $300. The remaining $200 would stay in the fund to sustain it. And by the way this is a temporary transaction fee until more people get back to work and the economy starts to recover. It is estimated that $21 trillion dollars is hidden in offshore accounts by the wealthy. Companies in the United States have an estimated $2.1 trillion. If companies just brought back that money and donated the interest alone from it this would have a huge impact on the economy and not increase the national debt at all! When you don’t have customers with money to buy your product it will really begin to feel like 1929 again in a hurry. This could snowball quickly. We don’t have time for negotiations over a stimulus package. Big banks and corporations could really turn their image around and be the true heroes if they wanted to be. The money is there folks we just have to make them accountable with our voices. We have seen how social change can happen all around the world. Let’s not miss this opportunity today right now. I haven’t even spoken about the largest market in the world and that is Forex. If we just took a small portion each day from the six trillion that is traded each day it would help us stop evictions around the world and give people hope.
Banks are already using block-chain technology as we speak. This doesn’t require building brand new infrastructure. As I just showed you this can be done with existing bank accounts. Payments can be made in seconds. I can send my sister money through Zelle in minutes. Their should be no lag time as to when payments can be made. So who is going to foot the bill for making this happen. The banks of course and without any transaction fee whatsoever.
I look forward to all your comments and suggestions with an open mind.

Thanks,,

Acorns worth the investment?

For many years i have been interested in forex robinhood and acorns. Have no experience or knowledge how all those apps work but i went with acorns. Thinking that was the safer way to invest and not stress myself out. For a beginner i have alot of questions and interests. When i signed up it asked me if i wanted to round up my recent purchases and invest 5.50 so i did i also set up a recurring payment of 5 bucks a month with my round ups. From the 5.50 i initially invested it has gone down .03 cents and i have more round ups that are gona be added to my account to make my 5.50 a 12.74 value. Im gona try it out for a momth and see how much i round up. My worry is that all this money i put aside that i could do on my own why put it in the app and do it by myself even though my investment could have the potential to make me money but also lose money that i could have just put aside. All advice and any suggestions would be great.

Newbie Question

Finally broke down and decided to give forex a shot. Funded my measly start up account with $100.00 and im pretty excited. But I have the first of what I'm sure will be many questions. When I click on a transaction in mt4 android and it says commission .50 cents. If I am showing a profit of .50 cents, does that mean I'm breaking even because the commission still has to come out? Or is the commsision already taken out when I first open the trade?
TIA

Forex trader looking to start trading Crytpo as well (help with brokers and lot sizes?)

Hey there -- I'm no stranger to trading. I trade Forex and Futures. I'm also not a complete newb to cryptocurrency in general, but I am when it comes to actively trading it.
To me, it just seems like Forex but with crypto and I'd really like to start building up my crypto holdings by "trading up" my account rather than solely just converting cash into crypto over time.
What is confusing me a little bit is lot sizing, leverage, and the right brokers to use.
I was eyeing CryptoAltum if anybody has experience with that?
Although I'd prefer something I can trade with Tradingview (my preferred charting / execution platform).
Aslo -- lot sizing.
With Forex it's pretty simple...
1,000 = micro-lot (approx. 10 cents per pip value on majors)
10,000 = mini-lot (approx $1 per pip value on majors)
100,000 = standard lot (approx $10 per pip value on majors).
But how is lot sizing determined with Crypto pairs?
I'm interested in trading crypto-against-crypto (for example LTC/BTC).
Is there an online calculator somewhere where I can easily determine the value per pip (or "tick"?) based on leverage and lot size?
Sorry if this has been answered a bazillion times.

Hong Kong Tinder girls and MT4 & MT5 scams?

I want to share my experiences with two girls I met on Tinder which after reading a few post here that were telling startingly similar stories made me believe they were scammers.
I got matched first with this girl from Hong Kong who contacted me first and quickly took the conversation off to Line Message App, upon a look to her profile I saw that she had just updated her profile picture, and the previous one was 9 years old and belonged to another older woman. I asked her about it and she said that the account used to belong to her aunt, I thought it was strange but okay, so first red flag.
We chat for a few days and she was super-hot and seemed nice and authentic, but she refused to do face time video, giving the reason that she once had a car accident while having a video call (really? who facetime while driving?) Then she quickly started saying how different I was from other men, and how I'm the only man she feels good about, and told me she made a lot of money on Forex trading and asked me if I was willing to learn, I thought "sure why not?" just get to the basics, so she guided me to setup a mock account using MT4, I learned that this was just a simulation with fake money that was supposedly using real market data, so in my mind I drew the line of "it's okay if is fake money, but I am not sending a cent of my real money, not yet". She mentioned how her "uncle" provided her with inside tips for investments that made her really wealthy, she even told me his whole story and about all the lavish gifts she gave him in gratitude.
Shortly after the first contact with the aforementioned girl another girl from Hong Kong matched with me and reached out to me, this one was more slow, it was me who suggested moving to another messaging app after a week, so we moved to WhatsApp, she showed me her house, her books and her cooking, sometimes offhandedly mentioned making trades using MT5, unlike the first girl she agreed to have a video call and we did see each other on video. But then later... she asked me if I knew forex trading, I feigned ignorance and she offered to teach me by setting up a mock account on MT5, and then she mentioned her "uncle" giving her tips. That set off a HUGE alarm bell in my head on how similar it was to the first girl. So I googled for "Hong Kong Tinder scams" and it brought me here.
I was barely able to sleep that night of the shock...
Next morning the first girl contacted me as usual, so I sent her a video of me asking her to send me a video reply of her, she refused and asked what was wrong with just communicating via chat. I answered that chat is no replacement for direct interaction, and if because of the distance and COVID19 it would be a long time for us to meet in person, so at some point we needed to see each other directly if we were serious in our intentions. She got really upset asking me why I didn't trust her when she trusted me so much. So I blocked and reported her.
Next I sent a message to the second girl telling her that I didn't want to get involved in trading at this point, that I was looking for a serious relationship with her and didn't care about money, and that maybe once we settle down as a couple/marriage I would be willing to invest with her but not before. She just said "It's your decision, I have no opinion", I expect she will stop talking with me after this.
So thats the stories I wanted to share. I really think/hope to have dodged 2 bullets here.

Do Not Trade What You Think,Trade What You See,

Do Not Trade What You Think,Trade What You See,

Do Not Trade What You Think,Trade What You See,

-Daniel, who was probably inspired by the motto of our FTMO T-shirt, shares some helpful tips on how to target the discipline of a trader and have the right attitude when it comes to trade. Experience! -

Trade what you see Not What You Think

Until understanding that FOREX is a random market, I have to admit that I've blown multiple accounts and only a consistent approach can give me some advantage.

I began to trad about 3 years ago. My friend Gary had been interested in the trade and asked me to look into it. I was doubtful at first, but when I spent some time delving into the opportunity, I paid heed that FOREX is the tool that would give me the financial independence I want.

There are around $5.3 Trillion traded on the markets per day, I don't need that many.

My aim is to slowly secure a small portion which will then motivate me to make more contributions to my church, community and homeland.
I do believe that once he recognizes the value of blessing others, one is not really successful.

I am most thankful that FTMO can provide me with access to certain money.
I think it's going to be a marathon, and not a sprint.
I'm not just trying to get rich in one day, but the FOREX market is very unpredictable. My target is a regular average of at least 1 per cent.

Any experienced trader will unambiguously accept that trade is more a matter of science than an art. In other words, this is knowledge of 10 per cent and personality of 90 per cent.

In addition, it has been shown that if the right behavior is not in place a trader may have a winning strategy, but transform into a losing strategy.
As a dealer, I'll build patience and a sixth sense in the FOREX to win.

I'm going to trade from zone to country, because the market appears to withdraw before the bearish or bullish movement persists.

Below is a comprehensive list of all the required steps I will be taking:

  • I'm not going to be revenging on investment and not on investment. I will stop the trading once I meet my goal for the day.
  • I won't get too emotional, cut short on losses. I would eliminate any fallacy, because there is no certainty in the market.
  • I should wake up early to pray and evaluate the market first before trading. Failure to schedule, plans to fail.
  • I will remain disciplined, concentrated and patient as Rome wasn't established in a single day.
  • I'll remain out of the market if I'm uncertain where to go or wait for some impulsive movement.
  • I can swap 4H and 1H from zone to region. I'll skip a 1-minute diagram because it's really skewed and deceptive.
  • I would unswervingly try to understand why if or when I lose a deal, and hopefully stop any repeats.
  • I'm going to follow the trading plan as it will bring financial freedom.
  • I will be researching and testing for any unusual market volatility variables such as news or other external factors.
In conclusion, trading is not as complicated as most believe, but traders prefer not to be impatient as humans, motivated by greed and irrationality.
With the right attitude and the right knowledge, I can see that trading is a success and an instrument for generating income and making a difference.
This is for our long-term relationship.

comprehensive list of all the required steps I will be taking.

Tired of being average

Hi, I’m Jai about six months ago I partnered a friend from high school introduced me to the idea of Forex. At first I ignored it and payed it no mind. But one day I was sitting in my dorm with .68 cents in my bank account. I had grew tired of doubling down on full time classes and a part time job working paycheck to paycheck feeling like I had no money. I decided to give her a message on FB and from there I joined an incredible trading group based out of Boston caller Royalty and Riches. They truly are a family of people all striving to see each other succeed. With my connections in the group I’ve been able to talk to straight up millionaires who travel the nation trying to educate people about forex and spread the vision. With all this I’ve dropped out of college and am working part time with money I never thought I’d touch in a lifetime if anyone is interested in trying to change there lives and stop being average hit me up on reddit

Some Advice?

I've been using the Forex demo account to try and understand how to trade. I've been practicing in the demo account for 2 weeks with a strategy I now understand is called 'scalp trading' and got lucky with 2K in a 48 hour span which as I've seen while watching the Forex reddit forum, is still pretty low for most users.
Without disclosing strategies that you would use, where would be a good example to break into the market? I've started to find where trend lines are after watching a couple people watch trends tracing back from 1 month, down to the 1 hour mark and then they trade long from there. I don't expect there to be a ton of activity with a brand new account but the adrenaline rush of trading and coming out even 10 cents ahead is amazing. The other thing I've been working to try and understand is reading a candlestick chart to see where I can pick up on a break to start a trade. Getting burned a couple times today hasn't made me want to quit, just learn what I did wrong so I can improve!

Trading ForeX; A newbies report

My writing is not great, so hang in there. Also, long post.
On Feb 28 2020 I set up an account on Oanda to begin my Forex journey. A friend of mine got me into the idea, saying he has been working with his dad that does this fool* time and it's a great way to make money. "I'm no dumbo and follow wall-street bets" I says, but he assured me THIS was different.
I did some basic research (youtube) and thought to myself, heck, it's money up or down. That's tight.
I came into looking to make a little bit of money, not an astronomical amount. I have a full-time job and two kids, so I'm not looking to end up homeless. I started my account with $1k seed, and the plan was make the $1k seed money back, pull that out, and have new $1k to play with. I thought I would achieve this goal in perhaps two months time. Starting out the trades I have made has been conservative, in units of 300-500.
The very first trade I made was EUJPY @ 100 units. I lost $0.40. It was magical. I had no idea what exactly was happening and the entire dashboard was crazy looking to me. I decided then that I really wanted to learn and I took seriously to the research that I was doing. I quickly found out that the news was a great tool in making market decisions. Looking at the history of currency pairs could also aid one in making informed decisions.
At this moment I made my first self rule: Make informed and guesstimated trade decisions.
I started to journal my trades and the ideas behind making these decisions. This gave me the feedback I needed when a trade went right or wrong for me. I could go back and understand why I did that, instead of just guessing. This also held me accountable for making informed decisions, going back to rule 1.
Rule 2 came shortly after that. I was given a recommendation on a pair to go long on a pair. I looked at the data and my head said nah, don't do that. But I thought to myself, well his dad has been doing this fool* time so let's go for it. Big mistake there. That was my first true loss. Up until this point I had only taken small losses in the form of cents. This was my first double digit loss. It hurt, but not a whole lot. Rule 2: Don't blindly follow. Make your own decisions.
Two weeks have gone by and I had made $1000.00! I got my seed money back! I was feeling good and put in my first big order, 10,000 units short on USD/JPY. BIG HIT of $300+. I was sky high. I did it again alllllll the way at the bottom of what I just closed at. The next morning was rude to me. I woke up with -$400 going against me. I panicked and took the L and started panic buying trying just to make up a little bit of lost cash. I kept digging myself deeper. At the end of the day I lost around $500. I took a day or two off from that and I made my third rule: Don't panic sell or buy.
I regained my composure and studied what I felt and why I reacted the way I did. To understand that the market can move against you is fine, and if I had stuck to rule 1 of informed trades, I would have been fine. Shortly after I had a 60.000 unit USD/CAD long hit -$800. This time I did not panic and I continued about my business. That ended up being on of the most profitable trades I have had, all thanks to Rule 3: Don't panic.
My last (so far) rule was born from the deadly sin of greed. That bastard; he was hard to kill. Seeing those dollar signs go up, up, up and way is so exciting. And then physics happens. Too often have I found myself in the situation of being able to make the same trade multiple times just because of the swing. This doesn't happen all the time and you can't really know if it is going to happen, but sometimes it's pretty easy to see.
Rule 4: Take the profit.
Now, I sell when I feel like I need to sell. If my gut says end it, I end it. I don't have remorse if I end a trade early. I came out with money I never had and I didn't lose money I never had either. Win/Win.
It is now 2 days away from being a month since I started trading. In that amount of time I have ended up with a Realized P/L of $3,036.55 at the time of writing this post. I am not writing this to brag or to look for high-fives and pats on the back. I am not naive that all of this can go very wrong with one click of a button. But I am proud of myself and at the fact that perhaps this could become my side-hustle in conjunction with my full-time job. I am still making rules for myself and still have a lot to learn.
Happy trading, space cowboy.

Things to look out for??

Hey guys just started learning about forex and started a demo account. I know most people recommend being in demo for a long time but im wondering if it would be okay to start a live account just trading very small, say, starting small at $$100-200, low leverage, trading very small just trying to get small profits ($10-20?) growing that account bit by bit. im in AU thinking of going with OANDA. anything to look out for? are fees a big deal? seems like theyre only cents to about 2 dollars based on my demo experience below

I am a professional Day Trader working for a Prop Fund, Hope I can help people out and answer some questions

Howdy all, I work professionally for a proprietary trading fund, and have worked for quite a few in my time, hope I can offer some insights on trading etc you guys might have.
Bonus for you guys
Here are the columns in my trading journal and various explanations where appropriate:
Trade Number – Simply is this the first trade of the year? The 10th?, The 50th? I count a trade
that you opened and closed just one trade number. For example if you buy EUUSD today and
sell it 50 pips later in the day and close out the trade, then that is just one trade for recording
purposes. I do not create a second trade number to describe the exit. Both the entry and exit are
under the same trade number.

Ticket Number – This is ticket number / order ID number that your broker gives you for the trade
on your platform.

Day of the Week – This would be simply the day of the week the trade was initiated

Financial Instrument / Currency Pair – Whatever Financial Instrument or currency pair you are
trading. If you are trading EUUSD, put EUUSD. If you are trading the EuroFX futures
contract, then put in Euro FX. If you are trading the emini S&P, then put in Emini S&P 500. If
you are trading a stock, put in the ticker symbol. Etc.

Buy/Sell or Long/Short – Did you buy or sell to open the new trade? If you bought something to
open the trade, then write in either BUY or LONG. If you sold(shorted) something to open a
trade, then write in SOLD, or SHORT. This is a personal preference. Some people like to put in
their journals as BUY/SELL. Other people like to write in Long/Short. My preference is for
writing in long/short, since that is the more professional way to say it. I like to use the lingo
where possible.

Order Type – Market or Limit – When you entered the trade was it a market order or limit order?
Some people can enter a trade using a combination of market and limit orders. If you enter a
trade for $1 million half of which was market order and the other half was limit order, then you
can write in $500,000 Market, $500,000 Limit as a bullet points.

Position Size / Units / Contracts / Shares – How big was the total trade you entered? If you
bought 1 standard lot of a currency pair, then write in $100,000 or 1 standard lot. If you bought 5
gold futures contracts, then write in 5 contracts. If you bought 1,000 shares of stock, then write
in 1,000 shares. Etc.

Entry Price – The entry price you received entering your opening position. If you entered at
multiple prices, then you can either write in all the different fills you got, or specify the average
price received.

Entry Date – Date that you entered the position. For example January 23, 2012. Or you can
write in 1/23/12

.
Entry Time – Time that you opened the position. If it is multiple positions, then you can specify
each time for each various fill, or you can specify the time range. For example if you got
$100,000 worth of EUUSD filled at 3:00 AM EST, and another $100,000 filled at 3:05 and
another $100,000 filled at 3:25, then you can write all those in, or you can specify a range of 3:00
– 3:30 AM EST.

Entry Spread Cost (in pips) – This is optional if you want to keep track of your spread cost in
pips. If you executed a market order, how many pips did you pay in spread.

Entry Spread Cost (in dollars) – This is optional if you want to keep track of your spread cost in
dollars. If you executed a market order, how many dollars did you pay in spread.

Stop Loss Size – How big is your stop loss size? If you are trading a currency pair, then you
write in the pips. If you are trading the S&P futures contract, then write in the number of points.
If you are trading a stock, then write in how many cents or dollars your stop is away from your
entry price.

% Risk – If you were to get stopped out of the trade, how much % loss of your equity is that?
This is where you input your risk per trade expressed in % terms if you use such a position sizing
method. If you risked 0.50% of your account on the trade, then put in 0.50%

Risk in dollars – If you were to get stopped out of the trade, how much loss in dollars is that. For
example if you have a $100,000 account and you risked 1% on a trade, then write in $1,000
dollars

Potential Reward: Risk Ratio – This is a column that I only sometimes fill in. You write in what
the potential reward risk ratio of the trade is. If you are trading using a 100 pip stop and you
expect that the market can reasonably move 300 pips, then you can write in 3:1. Of course this is
an interesting column because you can look at it after the trade is finished and see how close you
were or how far removed from reality your initial projections were.

Potential Win Rate – This is another column that I only sometimes fill in. You write in what you
believe the potential win rate of this trade is. If you were to place this trade 10 times in a row,
how many times do you think you would win? I write it in as percentage terms. If you believe
the trade has a 50% chance to win, then write in 50%.

Type of Inefficiency – This is where you write in what type of inefficiency you are looking to
capture. I use the word inefficiency here. I believe it is important to think of trading setups as
inefficiencies. If you think in terms of inefficiencies, then you will think in terms of the market
being mispriced, then you will think about the reasons why the market is mispriced and why such
market expectations for example are out of alignment with reality. In this category I could write
in different types of trades such as fading the stops, different types of news trades, expecting
stops to get tripped, betting on sentiment intensifying, betting on sentiment reversing, etc. I do
not write in all the reasons why I took the trade in this column. I do that in another column. This
column is just to broadly define what type of inefficiency you are looking to capture.

Chart Time Frame – I do not use this since all my order flow based trades have nothing to do
with what chart time frame I look at. However, if you are a chartist or price action trader, then
you may want to include what chart time frame you found whatever pattern you were looking at.

Exit Price – When you exit your trade, you enter the price you received here.

Exit Date – The date you exited your trade.

Exit Time – The time you exited your trade.

Trade Duration – In hours, minutes, days or weeks. If the trade lasts less than an hour, I will
usually write in the duration in minutes. Anything in between 1 and 48 hours, I write in the hours
amount. Anything past that and I write it as days or weeks as appropriate, etc.
Pips the trade went against you before turning into a winner – If you have a trade that suffered a
draw down, but did not stop you out and eventually was a winner, then you write it how many
pips the trade went against you before it turned into a profitable trade. The reason you have this
column is to compare it to your stop loss size and see any patterns that emerge. If you notice that
a lot of your winning trades suffer a big draw down and get near your stop loss points but turn out
to be a profitable trade, then you can further refine your entry strategy to get in a better price.

Slippage on the Exit – If you get stopped out for a loss, then you write in how many pips you
suffered as slippage, if any. For example if you are long EUUSD at 1.2500 and have your stop
loss at 1.2400 and the market drops and you get filled at 1.2398, then you would write in -2 pips
slippage. In other words you lost 2 pips as slippage. This is important for a few different
reasons. Firstly, you want to see if the places you put your stop at suffer from slippage. If they
do, perhaps you can get better stop loss placement, or use it as useful information to find new
inefficiencies. Secondly, you want to see how much slippage your broker is giving you. If you
are trading the same system with different brokers, then you can record the slippage from each
one and see which has the lowest slippage so you can choose them.

Profit/Loss -You write in the profit and/or loss in pips, cents, points, etc as appropriate. If you
bought EUUSD at 1.2500 and sell it at 1.2550, you made 50 pips, so write in +50 pips. If you
bought a stock at $50 and you sell it at $60, then write in +$10. If you buy the S&P futures at
1,250 and sell them at 1,275, then write in +25 points. If you buy the GBP/USD at 1.5000 and
you sell it at 1.4900, then write in -100 pips. Etc. I color code the box background to green for
profit and red for loss.

Profit/Loss In Dollars – You write the profit and/or loss in dollars (or euros, or jpy, etc whatever
currency your account is denominated in). If you are long $100,000 of EUUSD at 1.2500 and
sell it at 1.2600, then write in +$1,000. If you are short $100,000 GBP/USD at 1.5900 and it
rises to 1.6000 and you cover, then write in -$1,000. I color code the box background to green
for profit and red for loss.

Profit/Loss as % of your account – Write in the profit and/or loss as % of your account. If a trade
made you 2% of your account, then write in +2%. If a trade lost 0.50%, then write in -0.50%. I
color code the box background to green for profit and red for loss.

Reward:Risk Ratio or R multiple: If the trade is a profit, then write in how many times your risk
did it pay off. If you risked 0.50% and you made 1.00%, then write in +2R or 2:1 or 2.0. If you
risked 0.50% and a trade only makes 0.10%, then write in +0.20R or 0.2:1 or 0.2. If a trade went
for a loss that is equal to or less than what you risked, then I do not write in anything. If the loss
is greater than the amount you risked, then I do write it in this column. For example lets say you
risk 0.50% on a stock, but overnight the market gaps and you lose 1.50% on a trade, then I would
write it in as a -3R.

What Type of trading loss if the trade lost money? – This is where I describe in very general
terms a trade if it lost money. For example, if I lost money on a trade and the reason was because
I was buying in a market that was making fresh lows, but after I bought the market kept on going
lower, then I would write in: “trying to pick a bottom.” If I tried shorting into a rising uptrend
and I take a loss, then I describe it as “trying to pick a top.” If I am buying in an uptrend and buy
on a retracement, but the market makes a deeper retracement or trend change, then I write in
“tried to buy a ret.” And so on and so forth. In very general terms I describe it. The various
ways I use are:
• Trying to pick a bottom
• Trying to pick a top
• Shorting a bottom
• Buying a top
• Shorting a ret and failed
• Wrongly predicted news
• Bought a ret and failed
• Fade a resistance level
• Buy a support level
• Tried to buy a breakout higher
• Tried to short a breakout lower
I find this category very interesting and important because when performing trade journal
analysis, you can notice trends when you have winners or losing trades. For example if I notice a
string of losing trades and I notice that all of them occur in the same market, and all of them have
as a reason: “tried to pick a bottom”, then I know I was dumb for trying to pick a bottom five
times in a row. I was fighting the macro order flow and it was dumb. Or if I notice a string of
losers and see that I tried to buy a breakout and it failed five times in a row, but notice that the
market continued to go higher after I was stopped out, then I realize that I was correct in the
move, but I just applied the wrong entry strategy. I should have bought a retracement, instead of
trying to buy a fresh breakout.

That Day’s Weaknesses (If any) – This is where I write in if there were any weaknesses or
distractions on the day I placed the trade. For example if you are dead tired and place a trade,
then write in that you were very tired. Or if you place a trade when there were five people
coming and out of your trading office or room in your house, then write that in. If you placed the
trade when the fire alarm was going off then write that in. Or if you place a trade without having
done your daily habits, then write that in. Etc. Whatever you believe was a possible weakness
that threw you off your game.

That Day’s Strengths (If any) – Here you can write in what strengths you had during the day you
placed your trade. If you had complete peace and quiet, write that in. If you completed all your
daily habits, then write that in. Etc. Whatever you believe was a possible strength during the
day.

How many Open Positions Total (including the one you just placed) – How many open trades do
you have after placing this one? If you have zero open trades and you just placed one, then the
total number of open positions would be one, so write in “1.” If you have on three open trades,
and you are placing a new current one, then the total number of open positions would be four, so
write in “4.” The reason you have this column in your trading journal is so that you can notice
trends in winning and losing streaks. Do a lot of your losing streaks happen when you have on a
lot of open positions at the same time? Do you have a winning streak when the number of open
positions is kept low? Or can you handle a lot of open positions at the same time?

Exit Spread Cost (in pips) – This is optional if you want to keep track of your spread cost in pips.
If you executed a market order, how many pips did you pay in spread.

Exit Spread Cost (in dollars) – This is optional if you want to keep track of your spread cost in
dollars. If you executed a market order, how many dollars did you pay in spread.

Total Spread Cost (in pips) – You write in the total spread cost of the entry and exit in pips.

Total Spread Cost (in dollars) – You write in the total spread cost of the entry and exit in dollars.

Commission Cost – Here you write in the total commission cost that you incurred for getting in
and out of the trade. If you have a forex broker that is commission free and only gets
compensated through the spread, then you do not need this column.

Starting Balance – The starting account balance that you had prior to the placing of the trade

Interest/swap – If you hold forex currency pairs past the rollover, then you either get interest or
need to pay out interest depending on the rollover rates. Or if you bought a stock and got a
dividend then write that in. Or if you shorted a stock and you had to pay a dividend, then write
that in.

Ending Balance – The ending balance of your account after the trade is closed after taking into
account trade P&L, commission cost, and interest/swap.

Reasons for taking the trade – Here is where you go into much more detail about why you placed
the trade. Write out your thinking. Instead of writing a paragraph or two describing my thinking
behind the trade, I condense the reasons down into bullet points. It can be anywhere from 1-10
bullet points.

What I Learned – No matter if the trade is a win or loss, write down what you believed you
learned. Again, instead of writing out a paragraph or two, I condense it down into bullet points. it
can be anywhere from 1-10 bullet points. I do this during the day the trade closed as a profit or
loss.

What I learned after Long Term reflection, several days, weeks, or months – This is the very
interesting column. This is important because after you have a winning or losing trade, you will
not always know the true reasons why it happened. You have your immediate theories and
reasons which you include in the previous column. However, there are times when after several
days, weeks, or months, you find the true reason and proper market belief about why your trade
succeeded or failed. It can take a few days or weeks or months to reach that “aha” moment. I am
not saying that I am thinking about trades I placed ten months ago. I try to forget about them and
focus on the present moment. However, there will be trades where you have these nagging
questions about they failed or succeeded and you will only discover those reasons several days,
weeks, or months later. When you discover the reasons, you write them in this column.

So, I am new to Forex and have earned a little dollars from this market (sorry if my English is bad). I started to learn a few weeks ago and I began with cent account at FBS broker. But to be honest, I still do not have much knowledge about this market. I learn mainly from the Internet. And today I would like to share with you Trading Bootcamp lessons live from FBS on Facebook. This bootcamp will start from tomorrow 8/4, so if you are available, please visit https://www.facebook.com/financefreedomsuccess/, I believe we can learn a lot techniques from these less
These lessons will contain:
Lesson 1. How to benefit from the news. You will learn the basics of fundamental analysis and get to know what moment is more appropriate for trading and how to make money on world events. Lesson 2. Technical analysis in times of high volatility. The tutor will explain what kind of technical tools to use and how to distinguish potentially good trading signals from the bad ones in the volatile market.
Lesson 3. Psychological approach of the winners. You will get an idea of how to deal with stress when the price goes up, stay calm and confident, and lose no market opportunities.
Lesson 4. How to enter the market at the right time During this class, the analyst will summarize the results and explain how to pick the best levels for opening a trade.
Also, if anyone has some materials for Forex trading, could you share them with me? I would be very much appreciated

An Honest Review of T3 Newsbeat Live

T3 Newsbeat Live is run by Mark Melnick, a 20-year veteran trader from New York. According to him, he made his first million at the age of 19 during the dot-com boom back in the late 90s.
He claims that his trading room is the fastest growing trading room at T3 and also the Wall Street’s #1 trading room. You can see this in the description of his videos on Youtube.
He is a big proponent of reaching the highest win rate possible in trading. He openly shares some of his trading strategies in free videos and claims that some of his strategies are batting over 70% or even 80 %.
He also often says that some of the members enjoy a win rate over 90% using his strategies.
I will let you be the judge of this.
Self-Promotion
He makes a lot of videos to attract new people into his trading room. His daily videos are uploaded on Facebook and Youtube almost daily even on Weekends (mostly excluding Friday evening & Saturdays).
In so many videos you’d hear him talking about how his trading room has an edge over other trading rooms while bashing other trading rooms as a whole.
He often talks about how his trading room bought stocks/options at the near bottom or shorted at the near top using his “algorithmic analysis” which can be applied to all markets (stocks, future, forex, crypto).
Piques your curiosity, right?
In fact, that’s how I got to give his trading room a try.
“Who in the hell wouldn’t want to catch the top & bottom in the markets, right?”
So, you would think people in his room and himself are making a killing using his algorithmic analysis?
Not so fast… (in fact, his algorithmic analysis is just drawing trendlines and identifying the most probable support and resistance)
When it works (of course, nothing works 100% of the time), you are able to catch just few cents off the top and bottom when it works if you follow his trade.
However, you have no idea how long you’d have to hold your position. Mark doesn’t know either.
So, he usually goes for nickels and dimes and rarely holds a position longer than 5 minutes.
Even if he’s good at picking bottoms and tops, you’d often risk more than nickels and dimes just to make nickels and dimes. Make sense, right?
…….
…….
…….
Also, because he gets out of his positions fast, he misses out on riding some potentially big trades.
Oh, how I wish stay in that position a bit longer. He doesn’t say but one can surmise that he often leave too much on the table.
Of course, it’s important to take your profit fast when you scalp but you consistently leave too much on the table like he does, one has to wonder if he has any system for taking profits (otherwise, it’s all discretionary guessing).
This type of bottom/top picking is not his main strategy, though.
The strategy that makes him the most amount of money might surprise you. I will get to this later.
How Mark Trades (Mark’s Trading Setups and Strategies)
Mainly, he scans the market in the morning for earnings reports, analysts’ upgrades/downgrades and other catalysts that have potential to make moves in the market.
He openly shares his mockery or insult of analysts, calling certain analysts “idiots” or “imbeciles”.
He puts on his first trade(s) early in the morning (from 9:30AM to 10:00AM Eastern Standard Time) when the market move is the most volatile.
Some of his strategies use market order during this period of volatile time using options. You can see why this can be very risky and especially on thinly traded options with side spread.
He does point out this but sometimes you hear people in the room stuck in an options position that they can’t get out.
Just like his trades from calling the top/bottom of a stock, he gets in and gets out of a position within minutes if not seconds while going for nickels and dimes while staring at 1minute and 5-minutes charts.
That applies to most, if not all of his strategies. (Yes, sometimes he does catch bigger moves than nickels and dimes.)
When you trade during the most volatile time in the morning, you’re subjected to wild moves in both directions. If you’re overly prudent or inexperienced in trading, your stop (unless very wide), has a very high chance of hitting. A lot of times it might stop you out and go in the direction that you predicted.
So, when you’ve been trading during this time, you’d probably don’t set a stoploss order or a hard stop to avoid getting fleeced.
You do have to be proactive at cutting your loss as quickly as possible. Otherwise you’d find yourself scrambling to get out your position while the bid keeps dropping.
I have to say that Mark is very cautious and he does get out of trades very fast if he has doubt.
A lot of times he lets out exhausting, heavy sighs and even murmurs some swear words when things don’t seem to go the way he wants in a trade. Besides calling certain analysts, “imbeciles” and “idiots”, this is quite unprofessional but no one in the room has the gut to point things out like this.
The irony is that he is the “head of trading psychology” at T3 and it doesn’t seem like that he doesn’t have much control over his trading psychology and let alone his emotion.
People in trading chatrooms, like a herd of sheep, as a whole exhibit herd mentality. Even in an online chatroom, you don’t often see someone ruffling feathers and say what they really want to say.
This is probably because of the certain amount of people believing whatever he says without questioning the validity and quality of his comments.
He has several strategies and according to him all of them have win rate over %70.
However, he also comes up with new strategies as often as every month. He either comes up with new strategy or tweaks his existing strategies.
According to him, the reason is that the market is always evolving and you need to constantly adapt yourself to the ever-changing market environment.
What do you think? Does this sound like someone with an edge?
And for someone who scalps for nickels and dimes, he claims to have the highest Sharpe Ratio that he has ever seen in the industry. I’m NOT making this up. He often utters remarks like “My Sharpe Ratio is one of the highest I’ve seen in my twenty-year trading career.”, “I want to create a of traders with a very high Sharpe Ratio.
How can you achieve a high Sharpe Ratio when you scalp all the time?
And let’s not even talk about commissions generated from frequent scalping.
Who cares about commissions when you can be a scalper with high Sharpe Ratio?
Now, I want to talk about something controversial about his most profitable strategy.
Chatters
According to him, he makes the most amount of money using what he calls “Chatters”. He admits he bets on this kind of trades heavily.
His chatter trades are based on the “newsflow” of big funds making a move in certain stocks and piggybacking on the same trade before others catch on.
No one knows how he exactly gets his “newsflow” and he doesn’t give a straight answer when asked.
Maybe he pays a lot for this kind of information or maybe it’s given to him for free. Who knows?
But it makes sense. The name of the room is Newsbeat Live. Without this the name wouldn’t be the same.
This is probably the only real edge that he has and it’s understandable that he doesn’t want to reveal how he get this kind of newsflow and from where.
By joining his trading room he’ll make a callout on these trades for you to take advantage of.
In order to do this kind of trade, you have to be very quick on your trigger finger.
Almost always the initial move is done within a couple of minutes, if not seconds. If you get in late, you find yourself a sucker buying at or near the top.
Also, because you want to get in as soon as you hear his “chatter” announcements, he advised people to get in within 5 seconds of each chatter announcement and use market order to get in. He said that if he had a small account, he’d bet 100% on this kind of “high-octane” chatter trades and get in and get out fast for “easy” money.
This was how chatter trades were done
…Until one they when many people got burned badly.
Back in September or October of 2019, a lot of people in the room lost a lot money because they market ordered call options contracts on a chatter trade.
The spread on that trade was something like BID: 0.5 ASK: 5.00 few seconds after he announced it.
I didn’t take that trade. No way, I’m going to buy something that has a spread like that.
If you’ve been trading options you know that this kind of spread can happen. Many people that day in the room marketed-in on the trade, taking the offer at ASK.
They found themselves buying at $5.0 per contract when someone probably bought the same contract at $0.40 or $0.50 just few seconds ago.
Someone walked away with decent profits on that trade.
This was the biggest trading chatroom fiasco I’ve ever seen.
People in the room grieving and throwing numbers of how much they had just lost. 10K, 20K, 30K and even $60K.
Could it be also that someone who lost more and didn’t want to talk about it because it’d hurt too much? And how embarrassing to talk about such a loss. I give credit to people who spoke up about it.
People were obviously distressed and what did Mr. Mark Melnick do at this moment?
Initially, he didn’t say much. But what he said he was going to walk away from the trading desk to clear his mind.
It took a while for him to come back and he mentioned that it hurt him a lot that people lost a lot of money and encouraged people not to hesitate to contact him.
I don’t think he ever said anything about that he made a mistake insinuating to load up on chatter trades. No apology since everyone who took the trade did it at their own risk. He advised people to reach out to their broker and do whatever it takes to get their trades annulled because the market makers in that trades were despicable crooks and evil.
But let’s get one thing clear. Perhaps the cold hard truth.
Since Mark is the one who announces chatter trades. he basically frontruns everyone who gets in on these trades after him. There were times when he doesn’t take his own chatter trades and lets the room have it.
But when he does, it’s a guarantee win for him.
He has some sycophantic followers in his trading room and these people are always hungry for chatter plays. I can imagine drooling over the idea of next chatter trades.
It’s human to naturally seek the least path of resistance and this type of trade requires no skill but having fast trigger finger and a platform that allows fast execution.
By taking his chatter trades, you are most likely to make money as long as you act fast to get in and get out.
The thing is, you don’t know when it’s exactly the next chatter trade is going to happen.
If you take a bathroom break, you just miss it. If you take a phone call or answer a door bell, you just missed it.
So, it requires you to be glued to your monitor(s) if you want to make the most of your subscription.
So, we went over Mark’s most profitable strategy. But wait we haven’t yet to talk about his overnight swing trades.
Mark’s Swing Trades
His overnight swing trades jokes. Yes, jokes.
A lot of his overnight trades are done just before earnings announcements when implied volatility is at the highest.
You’ve ever bought a call option just before earnings, predicted the right direction but only to find out that you still lost money next morning? This is because of the implied volatility crush post earnings. A lot of people new to options don’t know this and get taken advantage by veterans this way.
I don’t know if Mark knows or not but I witnessed him buying options this way. I think he understand the concept of implied volatility but why he gets on such trades is a mystery.
I haven’t exactly checked the result of all of his swing trades but I wouldn’t be surprised if people lost more money following his swing trades than anything in the room.
Final Word
Mark offers “free-consultation” on the phone for people who struggle in their trading.
He said that he takes a lot of phone calls but often you’d get the feeling that he is distracted, unable to give an undivided attention for his consultation.
“How would you like to get on a free consultation with a millionaire scalper who can take your trading to the next level?” Appealing isn’t it?
But would you want to get on the phone with someone who is going to give a consultation, even if he or she is distracted?
Oh, it’s a free consultation. Ok, why not? What do I got to lose?
In his videos, you’d hear him saying that he cares for everyone in his trading room and considers them as part of his family. And he runs the trading room out of his good heart and intention more than making money.
Besides he says that he makes more money from his trading than running the room.
My suggestion is that you have a look and you’d be the judge.
He does hold “open house” for his trading room from time to time.
Also, I believe that if you try his trading room for the first time, you try it for a month for about $50. As for me, he’s just another front runner using his trading room to profit with a bad sense of humor and exaggeration that make you cringe.

Pakistan's economy contracts for first time in 68 years by -0.38% amid COVID-19 pandemic

This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 58%. (I'm a bot)
Islamabad: For the first time in 68 years, Pakistan's economy is set to contract in the outgoing fiscal year with a negative 0.38 per cent due to the adverse impact of the coronavirus pandemic coupled with the already weak financial situation before the pandemic hit the country, according to the economic survey unveiled on Thursday.
The pandemic has badly hit the economy in the current fiscal year ending on June 30.

Got paid a premium rate for writing smut

I don't know if this is the right subreddit for this. Apologies in advance if it's not.
I'm a freelance writer. I write everything that comes my way from finance to diet to pets and parenting. If it pays I write it. Last week I saw a gig asking for an erotica writer. Not my scene but on a lark, I gave it a shot. A couple of days later I got a reply from the client asking me to write a short erotic story about a couple getting down and dirty. I didn't take it seriously since the rate the client was offering was 10 cents a word. The maximum I get for a well-researched article is 6 cents a word and I'm happy with that.
So I ignored it thinking this was a troll. But on Sunday I was bored and didn't know what to do. You can guess what happened next. I sat down and wrote a 2000-word erotica about a couple going at it like rabbits. It came out in one sitting and before I knew it, it was done. The flow was good and it had a nice rhythm. I emailed it to the client/troll thinking he will get a good laugh out of it seeing that I was trolling them back.
A few days later I got an email from the client saying how he liked it and asking for my Paypal account. 'So, that's how you want to play it?' I thought to myself. Obviously, the "client" was playing along with the prank he had started. Not one to shy away from a good joke, I sent him my Paypal account. And guess what?
Half an hour later, I received $200 for the smut piece!
I was shocked. Ten cents a word for something that I had hardly put any effort in? I mean on an average day I would have 15 tabs open of articles covering all aspect of Forex trading so that I can get a good grasp of the topic and write it in an easy-to-understand style to non-technical readers. I get paid $50 for it and I'm happy.
But here's someone who was paying ten cents a word for a piece that required zero research and was done in a little over an hour.
The moral of the story? Whoever said life's fair is a cunt.

Thoughts on cryptocurrency (design, function, quantitative analysis/market forecast) and the politics of aid in the new post-COVID-19 era/epoch

Cryptocurrency $1.4bn of $25bn financial reporting market/space.
ETFs at 25% of mutual funds, mutual funds at 40% of the stock market, FinViz.com market cap. as US-based, looking at near 38-40% discounting on population-based speculation (because of 40% worldwide markets under 3% since 1961-2018, and because of OTC derivatives compared with total money supply less inflation, over the past 20-30 years), because of the credit/debit cycle of recessions in less wealthy countries viz. WorldBank data, IMF rules about aid disbursements, etc.
FinViz: $41.55tn; at an average with market capitalization given proper weight, 1.95% gains on average, per a review of the total M1 money supply compared with FOREX trades, per day, compared with the commodities schedule, viz. ports and distribution centers/shipping and trucking companies (internal consistency test/check on the market); also, businesses and sectors totaling less than $1.4bn, or some multiplier of that, even accounting for growth, by 2025 or later.
Gold and other precious metals, etc., as a function of the BitCoin halving, as an institutional and technological hedge (use BitCoin as a hedge against inflation, or an indicator of it, after the halving, and gold/precious metals as a hedge on BitCoin, as empty money viz. real-perceived value of commodities, and as a way to financially exert institutional leverage on the development of perfect security for distribution supply-chains, AI-based coins, etc.

Dollar, CryptoBuck, the $1 start-up currency; starts at $1, companies buy a % of that $1, the $1 is scheduled to have its return and discount the rest into charitable funds as the stock market does it’s martingale cycle, moving forward, to fight inflation; that is, every time the stock market does a martingale cycle, 50% less is released as a new coin offering, so initially $1, then $0.50, then $0.25, then $0.125, and so on, with the rest going to charity, thru X number of cycles; thus you have, at the outset, $1 dedicated to investments, and that is used as a tracker, sort of like a cookie, the shareholder % holdings are divided say, every year, or every two years, or every four years, not frequently, in other words, to emphasize the credit/debit cycle outside of the calendar year period, and say it’s pegged to the S&P500, or a section of NASDAQ, or a specific type of instrument, like a portfolio of risk-balanced ETFs, that could be it’s own project, when that doubles in market capitalization, or overall return % since the ICO, the amount of new buy-in to the coin is halved, no matter what the current price of the coin is, such that you can buy a new generation of coins, which are say less risk-averse because of the prior filtering of data through products like Yoga/Coil, of the initial $1 unit, at an additional $0.50, but with the other $0.50 going to charity, and see if you can reach a convention well past 3% of earnings, but in fact almost 100% of future earnings, asymptotically, on small amounts of money, really is the idea. So that as the coin shrinks in utility, the magnification between lending of point-to-point, cent loaned to cent owed, becomes obvious.
